Enjoy the Adventure
The Hampta Pass Trek is a breathtaking adventure that offers an extraordinary journey through the diverse landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, India. Starting from the lush green valleys of Manali, the trek begins in the scenic village of Jobra and traverses through dense forests of pine, oak, and rhododendron. As you ascend, the trail opens up to expansive meadows dotted with wildflowers, providing stunning vistas of the surrounding peaks. The highlight of the trek is crossing the Hampta Pass at an altitude of 4,270 meters, where trekkers are rewarded with awe-inspiring views of the stark, barren landscape of Lahaul Valley on the other side, in sharp contrast to the verdant Kullu Valley left behind.
The descent brings you to the serene Chandra Tal Lake, a crescent-shaped glacial lake that captivates with its crystal-clear blue waters and tranquil surroundings. Along the way, trekkers encounter charming hamlets and experience the rich culture and warm hospitality of the local Himachali people. The Hampta Pass Trek offers a perfect blend of challenging adventure and natural splendor, making it an unforgettable experience for trekkers seeking to explore the dramatic beauty of the Himalayas.
